In The Woods
We cleared this trail about 2 years ago (should take me to the Cherry), when I was splitting this morning I noticed the downed Cherry. Will buck and split before August.

A lot of our cherry is a moderate hardwood, but very susceptible to a black rot on its branches. I cut them down when they are 6" or less diameter.
Do you find a lot of the black rot on your cherry?
