Does anyone have a good number for Morso technical questions? I don’t really want to call Denmark, and a lot of the retailers aren’t that knowledgeable.

The 1600 can be rear vented, which leaves the optional top vent open. Is it possible to put a cooktop in the top vent spot??
It might work, if the stove's blanking plate has contact with the firebox. Hard to tell from the parts diagram.
I have not moved the flue collar on one of these, but it may be possible. If the top inside plate has a flue opening that allows the flame to reach the top.
