Mulberry is high on the BTU list. Sometimes it gets a little twisted. With a hydraulic splitter its good.. seasoning time is average. I've had it in the past and would burn it again with out a doubt...The only mistake you can make with this is passing on it..
 
It's worth it in my book. Good btu's. It does pop a little but that's the ambience of burning.

About a month ago I CSS about a half cord scrounge.
Good Btus, and easy splitting.
 
Take it! Easy to split, looks cool once split, and has good BTU's.
