My first actual broken part on a Heatilator. Customer reported that pellets were not dropping. Went on the service call to find the auger tube jammed with fines. I removed the auger and cleaned it out. The auger motor bench tested fine but with slight pressure on the auger it would go into reverse and continue back and forth.

There is a capacitor in the motor that makes it do this so basically you have to replace the motor. Not the stove's fault.

Great stoves at a great price. Even the best stove has to be maintained. In my opinion, thats the customers fault for not cleaning. No fault on the stoves part..

That new CAB-50 is actually a good looking stove. Much better looking than the other BBB's..
