My latest wood score

I hooked up with a local golf course that had a large wood dump lot, they loaded my trailer with a forklift three times. I know what these logs are, can you wood hounds guess correctly?

I see some black walnut and some maple of some sort. Can't quite tell about the other, but looks great!

It was free and they invited me back for more..........I now have 7 cords split, stacked and covered 3 of which are seasoned for next year and I'm out of room at home. My youngest has a house with a one acre lot about 10 minutes away where I store my trailers, so a deal will have to be worked out.

No maple or oak.

Unfortunately the largest log ended up as a 1/2 cord of elm, 3/4 cord of honey locust, 3/4 cord of black walnut,1/4 cord of really infested ash, 1/2 cord of hackberry and the one long log of hedge with some poison ivy which I got a very small amount on my left hand. I haven't split the hackberry yet because I have no where to stack it. I ended up with 3/4 cord of uglies stacked in my garden which will need to be moved by April 1st for my tomatoes.

I have 5 cords of ash , hard maple , black walnut and cherry for next year . Can't wait, it's an addiction really.

Good eyes on the walnut log Wood Duck, but the other is honey locust which I had to skim with my saw to knock off clusters of 8" thorns.
