Had A LOT going on lately and haven't had time to find and cut my own wood.. so had supposedly 2 cords (have to see what it turns out to be, but I think it's short) delivered in 4'ish logs. FIVE of the logs were cedar.. I've always heard cedar is ok for kindlin.. I guess I don't want to use it in my woodstove (other than kindlin)?

Is this really as heinous as I think, or not really a big deal? 5 logs is a lot of kindlin...

Not a big deal. It'll burn quickly. But the princess will keep the fire under control.

Shoulder season burns or just mixed in with other wood in a load.

Just burn it. But yes, a few small splits help light off a load quickly, so nice to split some of it a bit smaller.
