My Morning View Over Coffee

Heard a tremendous racket this morning as I was pouring my coffee. Went outside to see 24 World War II era airplanes flying right over my house on the way to a flyby in DC. Not my pic, one taken in DC, since I couldn't grab my camera fast enough but this is exactly how they looked over the house.

Was out at the playground with my kids and another dad spotted 3 of them flying overhead. Sweet!

Great thing to wake up to! Any idea what they were? Looks like mustangs maybe....

We had a dozen or so C130 type transports come up the valley last year. Not in that tightbformation, though. Felt very ominous.
