My wife volunteered to learn how to clean and run the stove when I go on travel for work. I told her when im not home just use the oil. I didnt watch the video but impressive non the less

No offense to the ladies here, but if my wife tried to clean, start or run my stove, my next phone call would be to my insurance agent to put the claim in for fire damage.

I feel the same way about my husband! I do let him carry up the pellets from the basement, but that's about it.

Mine is a pellet packer too. But let me qualify that by saying she helps pack !! and does everything else around the house so If I have to run the stove I have no room to complain, I got a great woman. WOS

I was the expert on running the woodstove when I was married (his contribution was getting it into the house - someone else actually hooked it up, and he is in construction and is handy). He also split wood, then I did all the stacking and most of the filling of the wood rack on the deck - the wood shed was 80 feet away), then I tended the stove and did all the cleaning of it.Okay, I will admit that he is doing those things himself now

Since there ain't no man around at this house, I definitely have to be the expert on the pellet stoves. It probably takes me longer to do stuff (like cut thru the siding and install the thimble), because I've never used those particular tools before, or tearing into the guts of a stove the first time or two takes forever because I am nervous that I will break something or not remember how to get it back together, but that don't mean I can't get it done!
