I have a Napolean 1100P and it burns pretty good . Sometimes it has trouble with dry Douglas fir,our Rocky Mountain DF has slightly different qualities all around compared to the stuff further north and west.
It doesnt seem to want to burn as cleanly but Lodgepole burns fine. I have never adjusted the air intake slots underneath,I just assumed the Factory did that. THis model doesnt have air coming up from the bottom but a small hole for air in the front and the top air and glass wash air. This is not the best stove,I have seen better but it was cheap at 900$.
Is it worth me playing around with those intake slots ,they are adjustable, and if you think its worth it,
what tips do you have to do that..??
