Hello all! After a shutting our pellet stove down after a mild day yesterday, went to fire it up this morning and the convection blower no longer kicks on. Even when turning it on manually, it will no operate. I took the side panel of the stove off to get a visual on things. When turning it on manually, I see the following:

1. the wheel turns ever so slightly, to the point if you don't really watch, you would think it was not moving. But it is... just slower then a snails pace

2. Placing my hand on the motor housing for the blower, then turning it on at the knob, i can feel the motor housing vibrate and hum, so it appears that it is receiving a current (was thinking that perhaps a switch was shot)

I guess my first thought is to pull the blower out, and clean it again. (did so prior to the heating season) As this would be the best case scenario and most preferable outcome. (searching past threads, i did not notice any oil ports, but will look and maybe it just needs a bit of 3-1 oil.

If that doesn't do the trick, any thoughts? Perhaps it is just met it's demise and time to be replaced. The stove, which we bought new is about 6 years old. It is our main source of heat in the winter and as a result, gets high use.

Thanks for any and all advice. Happy Turkey Day!
