Anyone have any feedback on these for this season? A local HD them in stock. I picked up two bags to test out. I wanted to know if anyone has burned these this year.

Burned 2 bags of these about a month ago. Lots of ash, black glass, so so heat. Not top on the list for sure.

Thanks guys. I tossed some in a few hours ago. Curious to see how they do overnight.

I saw surprisingly low ash levels with low heat output as well.

That sums it up pell it. Ash wasn't bad. But the heat wasn't there. This is a great example of why it's a good idea to try a few bags before you buy a ton or two.

I JUST BOUGHT 5 BAG'S, MAYBE SHOULD RETURN THEM....THOUGHT I READ HERE THEY WERE GOOD FEW MONTH'S BACK?

There Patriot pellets!!, I remember seeing a picture of a Patriot Cheerleader next to Inferno pellet's, Win a Ton, I thought Kraft bought out Inferno after there fire and is making pellet's

Worst pellets I've burned all year to the point I threw out half a bag. Horrible ash, and unbelievable amount of fines. And yes they may be patriot pellets... I believe they are produced by the Kraft corp

nothing is worse than Lee energy pellet's I burned last spring during the shortage

I think the lee energy pellets are made from the shavings they clean up out of the chicken coops!! Those and wood fibers inc are the worst pellets ever.

I burned 3/4 of the bag and went back to Okies. I'll burn the rest of the open bag and the other full bag in the spring.

Well I'm freezing my nut's off as I type, I loaded some in the hopper around 2am, it's 7am and they must of found there way down under the Stove Chows, it's 63 in my living room down from 66, and my dining/kitched says 56!!, and i live in a small 1500sq ft cape with open floor plan......cat litter they will become, returning the other 4 bag's and getting Freedom Fuel

A pic of some of the pellets. These tend to be a bit on the longer side, but didn't cause any feed issues with my stove. Notice the colors that are in a few of them. That's a bit concerning.

I am not liking them. Got a ton from HD, things are the dirtiest I have used in any quantity. Prefer the FSUs from HD if we are talking big box.
Things are so bad that they clogged up my ingniter (first ton after my full season-ending clean) to the point where banging the burnpot didnt help.
The stove would not light until i took the igniter bracket off and knocked it around a bit.
Also I am seeing A LOT of golf pencils, some very dark, in these bags.

I returned 3 bag's I had for Ultra Pine's, I'm even thinking of returning a ton of Chows....not too great, rather have FSU

Picked u pa few bags to try this season. OK heat, glass is still clean, though a bit more ash than other brands (Hamers, Somersets, AWF)

I think you get what u pay for with these . I burned 10 bags and couldn't wait til they were gone. Weird smell too kinda like plywood . Black glass really fast and generally dirty.

I just purchased a ton of the hardwood pellets at Menards in Escanaba,mi and I must agree that those are the worst pellets ever made! They stink, very small and burn like crap! I live an hour away from there manufacturing site and I do believe they will be getting a personal visit from me. The pellets burn however I have a Harman p-36 older model (by the way is now 10 years old and only trouble I had is I had to replace 1 distribution blower.) Any way, the pellets are absolute garbage. I wonder how anyone with a cheap pellet stove keeps them lit? The owners of wood fibers inc are the same people that own the Niagra logistics trucking company and I have known a few people that say they aren't very good employers. I sent them a letter to see if they will stand behind their products or just get blown off.

HarmanP61 also... they must really be bad to clog up those stove ignitors.
