Are these stoves still sold? I know Summer's Heat also is the same brand and maybe one or two others... but which are the NC-30? Thanks for any guidance.

EDIT: I see it on the heatredefined website... but it looks different than the big square front glass unit I was used to seeing... is this a much different unit?

I bought my Englander 30NC on the Home Depot website and had it shipped to the store.

I see they have a different model now listed. Is it as good?

The 30-NC is still available nationwide and in Canada.

What model is this? England's makes several wood stove models.

Yes the brand is still alive and well, just look for the 30 in the name, its still a little early for the big box stores to bring them out to the stores, next few weeks they'll show up as a in-stock item.

The "H" stands for Home Depot. If it were at Lowe's, for example, it would be referred to as a 30-NCL.

The old 30NC (big square window) is not on the website any longer. The
50-SHSSW01

looks similar to the old 30NC. Looks like they replaced it with a:
30-NCH

Which looks very different.
AFAIK, there is no plan to stop selling the venerable 30-NC. It is a time proven, low emissions stove. The new models are the 50-SSW01 and the larger 50-SSW02. Both have a larger viewing glass than the 30-NC. Rural King is just one vendor, there are many big box stores that sell other model England stoves including Home Depot & Lowes. Also available direct online from (broken link removed to http://www.amfmenergy.com).

The 30NC is the one pictured at Home Depot, the
50-SHSSW0 is a Madison , not an old 30. Two different stoves.
Not sure where you got the idea a Madison is a 30.

I get that, but it looks much different. The HD version is a slope top and the door is arch shaped on top where the usual well known version is square.

Ahh... I was thinking Madison = NC30.
