Got an issue. I’m using the 3 inch PL vent starter stub 1-00-674039 and using an adapter from duravent 3pvp-ADHB that is Specific for a Harman. I was told that this is the part and well it doesn’t fit!!! So does anyone know what the correct adapter that is to fit this. The OD of the stub is 3.55” which is about 1/8 bigger that the adapter. I’m confused and lost with this thing and need some guidance. My 3rd pellet install and this thing is the most difficult

PL3HPA is the part number for the Selkirk appliance adapter. Here is a link for all of the Selkirk pipe. I made a slit in the stainless steel, used a ton of silicone, snug up a hose clamp and left it overnight, on solid now.

Appreciate the advice. Sucks I already bought all the pipe already (Pellet Pro). I don’t understand why I would need to make adjustments to make it fit...but since you had too then maybe I got too.

Well just tried and cut some slits in it and nope it won’t go around/down on it. Too tight of a fit. Wasted that adapter. I called my local Harman dealer and they have no clue. Said it should slide inside and I explained it was designed to go around it. They claim it’s because I have a 3 inch stub and they say they use 4 inch and it works fine. Well hard to believe that when the OD on a 4 inch is 4.55 inches

Yeah the tail pipe is tapered...PITA. Some take it off and have a regular piece of pipe welded on that will allow the pipe to fit overtop...this maybe the cheapest way to do it for you as you have all of the duravent piping already. If you choose this route, just make a gasket out of a sheet of silicone 1/16 or 1/8 inch thick to reinstall it.

yes typical freestanding are. My FS accentra was tapered. The inserts are steel and not tapered. There has to be a SS adapter or something else.
