need help with stove purchase

my freind is buying a new stove for his house and it has to go in the basement. he has no flue so will have to use triple wall he is wanting a epa stove . what do you all suggest . his basement is pretty large 2500sqft or more. if you can post pics. and how you like them . we live in south eastern ky, close to lexington . HOME OF THE WILDCATS.

Lots of stoves out there to choose from. For 2500 sq ft I'd look into a large fire box of around 3 cu ft. Is it a finished basement? Is he looking for steel, cast, or soapstone?
