Taking our insert with us, moving into a new (to us) house with 25' exterior chimney. Will need a full stainless liner and maybe a cap.

Can someone recommend a good installer on Cape Cod or southeastern Massachusetts?

Rough idea on what this should run?

Called a shop on the Cape, they quoted me $2500-$3000. Thought that was a bit excessive...

Called the shop that sold me the insert (and installed it) originally, they quoted me $1300 for the liner and installation. Hmmm....

Never been out that direction, but I have good luck going on the CSIA website www.csia.org/ plug in your zip code and go to the different sweeps websites. Read about them, if you see one that looks good call them, see what they have to say.

Yes many times a csia sweep's quote will come in higher than someone who is not certified. I know for a fact our quotes are usually more than anyone else's but we do more we meet or exceed all codes do a block off plate in any fireplace install ect ect. Many of the guys we are bidding against do not.

Well here $2500 to $3000 would be on the high side for sure but $1300 would be very low also. On a standard insert install we usually are around $2300
