New Build / Alcove / Lopi Liberty

Hello all, I have learned a lot and appreciate the posts. We are currently building a home located in central Oklahoma. I wanted to share our fireplace/alcove set up and the inspiring photo we got our idea from. The livable space is just shy of 4000 sq and this will be a secondary source of heat with the possibility of being the main source. The floor will be tile continued from living into alcove and tiled up on the “roof” of alcove with the liberty lopi stove recessed inside.

We also have installed a Villawood 42 in the back porch area. That will eventually have powered screens to enclose when necessary.

I realize this isn’t for everyone but we love how the inside alcove turned out and look forward to breaking in the heat sources later this winter.

Thank you! We are super happy with the masons work! We were concerned with the brick/stone contrast but it came together nicely.

A little construction update. The company we purchased through was able to get our liberty lopi non catalyst stove set this week.

We did not get the fan kit installed on this unit. But the option is available.

A little update from the finished project after paint and the first fire to do some curing before move in.
