New Cat company?

Found this on E-bay and it sounds like a good deal.. (broken link removed to http://cgi.ebay.com/woodstove-cat-converter-small-/160531222222?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2560680ece) .. I checked out their website and they are not a fly by night company (broken link removed to http://sud-chemie.com/scmcms/web/page_en_7529.htm?select=DQM_url4_0&search_text=000C56M&searchMode=true&lang=en&nodeId=3010&search_lang=en&preview;=)

I am considering buying one these as it looks like a good alternative to Condar SS cats.. I am wondering about the warranty though...

So Ray, is ebay the only place they sell these cats? What are their prices? For sure you would want a guarantee and I know if I order through Woodstock the guarantees will be honored but not sure of other companies.

I checked the website further and they have a 6 year warranty. There is a rep in Mass. and the seller is from VT. The price is $60.00 plus $9.00 shipping buy-it-now price.. I did provide links to the cat company site..

The 6-yr warranty on cats is mandated by the EPA. (broken link removed to http://www.sud-chemie.com/scmcms/web/page_en_5694.htm) Sud-Chemie has been around since the beginning. www.chimneysweepnews.com/Combustors.htm @ $50, I would buy both of those cats on ebay, if they fit my stove.

I dug up the same link while you were posting, Ray. LOL. @ $60, I'd buy 2. I doubt the half-price special will last.
