Hi,
I have a new delonghi 24 inch gas stove, and I am wondering what the white, foamy stuff is behind the side walls of the oven?I'm talking about the stuff that is only noticeable when you first attach the racks to the inside stove walls. I'm scared this is some sort of packing material and shouldn't be heated up. I used the stove for the first time and it smelled kind of fumey. I don't know if this is just "new stove " smell, or if there's some left over packing materials in the stove.
Thanks for any help.
