Was in Lowes Wednesday (9-02-09) when i came across an interesting pellet stove. It had a 3-glass panoramic view, top feed system and a sealed, clean-out ash pan. It also had a ceramic 'fire log' in front of the burn pot. I opened the pellet hopper and to my surprise it was a Englander! The model was E-25/3, i think. Has anyone seen this stove or have any more info on it? Mike?

I saw that stove too, it was a few weeks ago. I looked on Englander's web site and it wasn't listed. Maybe we can get Mike to give us the low down on this new stove.

this is the "evolution pellet" stove, model number is 25-EP here is the spec sheet from our website http://www.englanderstoves.com/25-ep_i.html there is also an insert version to this unit. BTW the freestanding unit as pictured can be converted after sale to a fireplace insert with a kit we carry. so if you bought an EP and then moved to a house with a fireplace you could convert the stove to a fireplace insert without having to buy a new stove. pretty neat feature IMHO

Is Englander moving away from the 2 auger system, or just expanding it's line?

just expanding the line so far, no decision to discontinue the bottom feed system stoves has been made
