Im about to install my Enviro mini in my house this weekend, I bought a complete vent kit, anyone have any suggestions. I plan on using a sawsall to cut the hole for the thimble, usless you guys have a better method

Sawsall will work fine, but I did use a multi tool on the sheet rock, the sawsall likes to rip chunks out of drywall. Only other suggestions are to measure twice and cut once, and the follow the install manual to the letter including clearances. Good luck, can't wait to see some photos.

One other thing. If you are thinking about not installing an OAK just check with the inspector first. It sucked having to open things back up to install when my inspector said it was needed. He had a hard rule that a pelket stoves need an OAK.

Another thing I just thought of. Let your homeowners insurance know that you have had a pellet stove installed. If something happens you don't want to give them any reason to deny your claim. You're premium may go up a little, mine didn't but they wanted pictures of the install as well as pictures showing clearances and a copy of the page in the install manual listing those clearances.

stoves going in today! Not sure if i wanna go just straight through and a termination cap or have some vertical rise, what do you guys suggest? ive heard pros and cons of both and i dont really trust my local pellet stove dealer
