If the top pic shows what you are questioning about your install, there is absolutely nothing wrong that I can see.
Where does the OAK teminate?

Goes approx. 6 feet into existing (previous wood stove pipe) Thank you, I thought it might vent out the side wall on its own. mantle going up tonight , then finishing stone soon after

I think a lot of people run their OAK out the back of the chase, in your case, just above the brick. If it's terminated up on the roof, you may have problems with snow. How long is that OAK pipe? Is that 4" venting with 3" OAK pipe?

Ahhhh, I see. Good idea utilizing the old pipe for the OAK:) That's gonna look sweet when it's done.

Cool username too. Welcome.

Thanks all!!

I live in a split level home, fired it up 28 degree night(located on first level) , maintained surprisingly even heat
upstairs (75 degrees downstairs , 72 upstairs ) very pleased with its perfomance

Thanks, reading the forum I see many installers don't want to install an OAK, had to convince them to do it even though was paid for (wanted to refund) in my case wanted to be safe than sorry

That wood frame right on the stove chassis doesn't scare anyone else?

Hello Brian , was a concern for me as well , was raised before installing cement board, also using a zero clearance box from Harmon

Is that the standard size accentra or the 52i? Looks good!

Very nice, only thing left to do is correct the spelling of HarmAn in your signature... Sorry, just can't help myself...
