I recently just purchased the summer's heat 55-SHP22 pellet stove. I am having trouble getting the settings right. I need a high heat without the pellets backing up and not burning all the way. When I turned it on high it out out tons of pellets and didn't burn all the way. Any help on what I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like the air damper needs adjusting.

mode setting may be off

shut stove down

unplug
plug back in then immediately hit the blower up AND blower down arrows together and release

look for a letter in the heat range, see if it reads "d" , if not quickly set it to d using the heat range arrows
