I just bought a house that has a pellet stove in it. I have no idea how to start it,keep it going etc... HELP !!!!!!!!!!! it calls to use "pellet starter" but what is that???
The stove says: 1600 PS/CLASSIC II PELLET STOVE"

Thanks in advance for any and all info

How about a picture? Seems a lot of manufactures make a Classic. Pellet starter usually refers to gelled alcohol. Can be had where wood pellets are sold. Comes in about a quart squeeze bottle. If someone knows your stove they may have a source for a manual.

If you are having trouble keeping it going - it probably needs a deep cleaning. I would recommend that you locate a reputable dealer in your area who can come by and do a clean out and show you how to use the unit properly - not to mention he will do an inspection of the set up (including pipes/liners). If you're new to this then you don't want to take any changes that the liner needs replacing etc. - it could cause a fire. Start with a professional and go from there.

If you put your location in your signature - I'm sure someone on here can recommend a reputable dealer in your area. Good luck!
