First of I want to thank everyone for the wealth of great information shown on this site. It has been very beneficial for a first season stove burner with no knowledge of wood burning.
With all the talk on here about chimney fires and creosote build up I nervously inspected my chimney today after about 2 months of use, it was surprisingly clean as a whistle, no creosote build up, looked practically brand new. I've been burning for the most part not so great wood and was sure I was in for a good cleaning.
Why is the chimney so clean I have a freestanding NEO 2.5 and double wall insulated pipe, I have also been using the rutland creosote "remover". I'm not complaining but is there any specific reason my chimney is so clean????
