Been using the the stove so much so I haven't been running the heat that much. Noticed yesterday morning had cold water sure enough the primary was shot. Local lowes had one left.. lucked out for a holiday weekend

Wow you even got a factory new unit instead of a rebuild.

I have been lucky over the years going to HD and Lowes for boiler parts on weekends. They stock a lot of standard parts and even if they are not exact I have been known to adapt things to make it fit.

It always breaks on a Sunday or holiday when all the distributors are closed :p
 
If you call a tech you are going to pay for both an arm a leg and probably a few other body parts ;)
 
Definitely buy a lottery ticket or two. ;)
