I know this is a long shot - but does anyone have any inventory left of the old Heat n Glo DV pipe? Our fireplace - a Grand 50 - was installed 22 years ago and works fine. Due to a remodel, I have to build a chimney and extend the DV pipe, which terminates in a DVK currently. I need a 90 degree angle and a 6 foot section of DV pipe. I have called Heat n Glo and also Duravent - and they discontinued this pipe about 15 years ago. Thanks! Kin

Thanks! Unfortunately, that's for DVP pipe (the new standard) and not the old DV pipe - which is slightly larger and the two are not interchangeable and you can't go from bigger (DV pipe) to smaller (DVP). No one makes a converter for that very reason. I have tried everything I could glean from web sites and contacted Fine's, Hearth, Heat n Glo, Duravent - and get the same answer - I have to replace the fireplace and redo the DV pipe with DVP pipe. The only option is to find someone that has done exactly that and may have some DV connectors and pipe for sale. I have also tried eBay without any success. So, if anyone has old DV pipe parts laying around, please let me know. I also thought about taking a section I have to a metal shop, but the ones that I have contacted won't fabricate something as it would not be the original parts and they don't want the liability.
