Been lurking through here for awhile. My 1840's Cape farmhouse in the Adirondacks has no central heat. A Hearthstone Clydesdale and Jotul Katahdin do it all. There is a HS Tarm boiler for sale locally, 20 years old, supposedly works well, for $400. With all the cost of getting a central distribution system in, is it stupid to use an old boiler, or are these old one's good equipment to maintain?
thanks,
Matt
