Operating an old Quadra Fire 3100

Pretty sure its a 3100 at least. Stove was installed in the 1990s. The current 3100 seems to work a little differently. This has two levers that pull out or push in.

My question is dumb, but when the levers are all the way in are the air controls open or closed?

Edit, nm, thinking of different quad operations.

Got it. Mine is the 3100 ACT. In is open, out it closed.
