Im looking for a good semi chisel chain for my ms 290 to cut dirty wood...oregon now only makes them in low kickback...trying to save my rs chains for clean green stuff..does anyone have any experience with these chains...or could you reccomend another brand....pref made in US...thanks guys...yes i know sthil makes the RM but only the dealers have them round here and they dont stock them...

Oregon doesn't make just low kickback:

Maybe that is what your dealer is carrying but that shouldn't be what is available.

Windsor also makes some saw chain without bumpers

Carlton still makes some in the US, and they make a semi-chisel with no bumpers. Woodland pro chain is Carlton, so that's something to keep an eye out for.
