Would like recommendations on either of these stoves. I need a stove to produce 80,000 btu's for the large area I need to heat. Open room , 34 x 22 , with a 19 foot high ceiling. Does anyone have either of these stoves ?
Thanks,
Larry

Welcome to the forums Larry!!

I have a 2300. It heats like a monster. Seasoned wood is key. It has a bypass damper in the back to help light, warm the flu and prevent smoke spillage when opening.

The 2300 is well liked due to the north/south loading and is a nice heater. If space isn't a issue you may want to look at the 2400 as well. it offers more heating capabilities and the price isn't all that different.

I gotta agree, the N/S loading option is great. The firebox is over 3 cu ft and it has good burn times. I also like the baffle. I have had mine for over 4 years and no issues whatsoever. PLUS, they are made 450 miles from here ;)
