Hi wood burners, I’m looking to put a new insert in my basement fireplace. Basement is 2167 sq ft. Chimney is 21 ft tall and located in center of house. I have narrowed my choice down to an Osburn 3500 wood insert which the dealer I’m dealing with carries and I wanted to see if any members have this stove or insert and your experience and opinion of it? Thanks in advance guys.

Sounds like this situation will need the largest insert that fits. Osburn has a good reputation and this firebox is simple plus time-proven.
