Out with the Leyden in with the Cape Cod

After many, many problems with the Leyden, I decided to replace it with the Cape Cod. I think it will be a great stove, couldn't be better so far! Lopi makes great products, it's a shame the Leyden was such a turd. I tried it out because of the problems that were reported from the field, I thought it was mostly user error. I was wrong! I think the entire combustion system is undependable. The Cod is a beast!

Of course it's legal. I just had that there to protect the wall when the Leyden went nuclear, and I never moved it.

When that baby cools get us some firebox dimensions! I've really been digging that stove.

This stove will burn very,very low. I can make it burn with no flame, and the cat keeps up fine. It's not as slow as my Blaze King was, but it's pretty good. And it has a great fire view and clean glass. That's something I missed while using the Blaze King.

The Cape Cod looks like a gorgeous stove. WE might have gone that way if it had been out when we bought ours. Lopi is a great company

No, the Leyden was though . This stove has secondary tubes as well as a huge cat above the baffle.

So, unlike the VC stoves.
It surly looks like a nice stove! As I type this, I am sitting in shorts in a quite large family room, temp at 77f (outside temp -15f) and I feel like I am cheating on this 20 and some years old VC Encore!

Yeah! I am a persistent one. Don't like to loose! I did in the end!
The "NEVERBURN" beat me. The old VC at stoves are much better animals!
