outside air feed ?

I'm going to pull air from the fireplace clean-out.
With 3 inch dryer vent pipe.
Should I insulate the pipe as it comes out of the cleanout toward the stove.
I have read there might be a condensation issue if I do not.

Lennox makes a few fireplaces that mandate outside air, and the kit comes with a insulating blanket for the 4" tube. They will absolutely not (I tried to get by without it once) let you install the OAK without the blanket because it will most likely cause condensation inside the flex. Seems like it wouldn't hurt to insulate your kit if you are going to use one.
