Hello,
This is my first winter with a pellet stove, and so far, so good. The Enviro Mini has proven to be a great little stove thus far.
I am thinking about installing an OAK, but the predicament is that the stove is against an interior wall. My thought is to drill through the floor, run some hard pipe through, and tie into an existing fresh air duct that was installed for my old (now unused) oil boiler. I have capped it off at one end to prevent cold air from entering the basment. The duct in question is that flex duct (it is about 7" OD). Is poking a hole in this and using it for an external air supply a bad idea? Thanks
