Wherever we're parked
Many of you know from my past postings that I am a Patriot Guard Rider & one of the "Feel Good" missions we do is to escort the remaining WWII veterans from their home locations to the Albany International Airport for a flight to Washington, DC, so they can get a chance to see THEIR Memorial near the other monuments on the National Mall. Please click the link & help us to continue funding these flights. Of the 16.1 million who served in their Nation's time of need, there are less than one million left among us. They continue to pass on at nearly 1000 per day...Cast your vote for Patriot Flight.

Thank you for your support.

My Dad, 87, is a WW2 veteran. I have tried to get him to go on this trip several times. He wont accept any veterans services either, because he is set financially and has great health coverage from his job. He feels there are people out there that deserve it more than him. He was an MP, was in for the last year of the war.

Thanks for your volunteering, and I will continue to try to get him there..

The site says "To vote, simply click on the bubble in front of the nonprofit of your choice and hit the “vote” button."

I see no bubble therefore I can not vote. :(

Yeah. I didn't have the option to vote either, then it was there after I bounced around a bit reading other stuff. I saw in the comments section that this isnt the first time its happened with the site.

I wish I could tell you what I did to have it work, but I got no idea. I was on my mobile device, not sure if that contributed or not...

Thanks anyway folks. The voting has closed & thought the Patriot Flight finished a close second, we did get a LOT of exposure.. Hopefully,
this exposure will have a positive effect on our future fund-raising endeavors...

Got at least one extra vote in. You're doing an admirable act, very respectable, thanks for looking after those who looked after us.
