I just bought a Fasco motor # B47120 and want to swap it out in my blower assembly. The only problem is it has three lead wires (red black and blue) while the old one had two (white and black). Anyone ever deal with this situation or know how to? I believe the new motor is three speed while the old works off a reostat and is adjustable.

Not 100% sure without seeing a wiring diagram but it sounds like they are for a 3 position switch for speed control. Low, Medium and High. Is there a white wire also?
