Hello everyone,

After receiving much advice from hearth.com users, we decided to get the Escape 1800 stove for our ~1800 sq ft home, instead of the larger escape 2100 stove.

However, we now would appreciate some advice regarding the Legs vs. Pedestal option.
Does anyone have experience with either of these type of the Escape 1800 stove, and have their advice/opinion on it? I was thinking the pedestal may be a bit more sturdy and durable. But, we also thought that maybe the legs option allows more free air flow around the stove.

Thank you!
RJ

I'd go with what you(r significant other) likes best.
You'll be looking at it for a long time. Get what you find most pleasing to the eye.

I don't think the performance will be measurably different between the two.
