I have a MT Vernon AE Insert that is about 2 weeks old.

When it gets low on pellets, it leaves a big mound of pellets on the "shelf" on the right side of the hopper.

Is there a trick to getting those pellets to fall into the bottom of the hopper?

try some sort of silicone spray...wipe it on then wipe it off...dont let any get into the pellets...only on metal...wipe it off and it will leave a nice slippery surface....

Go to the kitchen and get some parchment paper with the waxy surface and rub it all over the inside of the hopper, those pellets will slide like there on ice.
