We were rolling right along nicely after our last rash of issues with our Harman. Tonight the stove just started and immediately shut down. No lights blinking or anything. Circuit breaker is fine, as light worked in that outlet. Is there a reset switch to press or any other ideas? Thanks again.

I am not familiar with your issues from before. But when you put in the new fuse, I would check over all the wiring first before you turn it on. Just to make sure there are no exposed wires, and that all the leads are tight.
Okay still need ideas. Put in a new fuse, auger ran in a few pellets and blew fuse again. What's the next step?
If its just your auger motor running.... it sounds like that motor has "hi-draw", which means its failing. Is it possible to unhook auger motor and fill burn pot by hand and see if it runs (until it burns the pellets you put in the pot) without blowing the fuse ??
The motor having excess mechanical resistance will cause "higher-draw" as well, like an auger jam or bad bearings on auger.......
I have no idea how to bypass the auger motor. Will empty the pellets to make sure there is no jam, though.
Are your settings on manual or auto? If on auto, maybe the igniter is problematic. Have you tried the Test mode? That will run the auger and blowers for one minute. If the blowers sound normal and the fuse still blows, it is most likely an issue with the auger motor or a jam.
You said you had just had " a rash of issues " that have since been solved. What were the issues and is it possible your current issue of blowing fuses is related to those previous issues?
If you blew a fuse that means something is WRONG
! I would look to the ignitor and air pump as the first cause of the problem. If you don't have a meter and know how to use it I would say it is time to call the dealer.

On test it kept augering and did not blow fuse. But when we turned mode selector to room temperature it doesnt start up
Changed burn pot, changed to the larger opening blower cover and changed to Somerset pellets. It worked better than ever...until this
Sounds like an igniter problem. Try a manual start in stove temp /manual mode and see if that works. If that works, you need to take a good look at the igniter circuit. How old is your stove? Perhaps a wire is damaged/shorted in the igniter chamber while cleaning?
Here's an update...............we're not there yet. You were right, it was an igniter problem. The Harman dealer came out today and blew 2 igniters, but the fuse didn't blow. Now he went home to trouble shoot with Harman. No clue.
He got the stove started manually and it continues to run, so at least we have heat. Do we need an air pump to keep functioning?
Some self lighting multi fuel stoves(like yours) use a hotter ignitor and an air pump for self starting.If you only burn pellets you may be able to just put in a standard ignitor.There is nothing wrong with manualy starting stove,most owners manuals show you how.Would be best to fix stove the way it was made,will light better.
Thanks for all the help! With all the issues we have had this year, I'm thinking we'll go back to the Fisher wood stove. It doesn't depend on electricity or anything except us hauling wood in to feed it. This is the second service call this winter, $200 service call, plus parts we bought from the dealer and put on ourselves. Another $400 for an air pump, plus the igniters...........this stove isn't worth investing another penny.
