Narrowing it down to Kinderhook, Harman p61, and the cab50 would like some input.
We like the cab50 for the price
We like the kinderhook ;better btu's; good price; better heat exchanger
Harmon p61 through researching seems to be liked more often then others

Stove location planned for full walk-out basement
House is 1700sq ft (1st & 2nd fl.) without basement
How a propane fireplace ("hog") on the first floor in living area
Entry from basement into 1st floor is centrally located off of living area.
Living area open to upstairs that has vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan up top
Have good+ insulation

You can take my suggestion for what you paid for it but since the fireplace is a hog, have you considered a good quality pellet insert to replace that with that should heat your entire house ?

Of course that excludes the basement. If the basement is finished and your goal to heat that as well. I think you will need another optional heater down there. I don't see a single stove from the basement heating the whole thing, basically three floors if I get your message correctly. However in that case. of the three you mention, placed in the basement only ? I'd have to elect the P61. I'd guess you are heating 2600 sq ft more or less all together but on multi levels. Is the basement insulated as well as the house ? And finally, what is the central heat of the house ?
