That's a cool wood storage device and would be perfect for kindling! Someday I will find a decent looking storage container for my kindling as the plastic salt bucket I use is pretty damn ugly..

I imagine if you had an old wooden barrel, you could cut & make it to fit your needs.
I was thinking it would be neat to cut open one of the ends, with a hinged door,.
Then a short chimney on one end (something the size of a 5 gallon bucket) for kindling
To make it look like a barrel stove
But i don't have one yet.

Make darned sure that no guests would be inclined to light the "wrong" stove.

That would be my luck :lol:
looks cool but seems dumb they cut the side open instead of using one of the ends, maybe if you cut it down the middle and have 2 you can stack the wood up in would seem to be smarter, like they do them oak barrel planters.
