TSC Lancaster, Ohio received 2 truckloads over the weekend. Manager priced them at 194.50 a ton. Picked up 4 ton, should hold me for the winter. They are now tucked away in the garage. This will be my last pellet purchase as I am relocating to St Croix USVI. next year. Picked up 2 ton at a time in the Dodge, the old girl did not even know they were there. Yes I am taking the Dodge to St Croix with me, wont give up my truck.

Now that's a truck! Nice! What a price. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you shouldn't need a pellet stove in USVI.

So the TSC price in Ohio at approx 300 miles from the plant is $194/ton. The price in RI, approx 940 miles from the plant is $240/ton. $45 per ton shipping for 640 miles is pretty damn good, especially when the only reason anything ships to RI is bc federal highway planners put RT 95 right through it, thank GOD! Side point: with the TSC prebuy I scored 2 tons at $225. Next year I'll reserve 4.

I did that a few years back, the price is actually stable enough around here, that I decided it was not worth tying up 4000 dollars for 5 years it takes me to burn 22 ton

it is a 3/4 ton which came from the factory as a 1 ton, they did that in 2002 for some reason when you got the 6 speed manual. Nope, does not get below 75 degrees very often. High around 85 is the norm.
