Found the perfect stove pad, almost. right size, shape, and price. Only problem is that there is no manufacturer sticker or UL sticker with specs. I have a Jotul F3 which requires a floor protection R Value of 1.1. It's 1.25 thick about. what are peoples thoughts based on what bottom of pad looks like? seller says it seems like a particle board or composite type substance. Thanks!

Looks like particle board to me.

It could be R1.1+ if it is a quarter inch of veneer stone, an inch of micore, and a quarter inch of particle board.

More likely it is an eighth of an inch of MDF brick pattern paneling and an inch of particle board, with an R value of very little.

You'd have to cut an edge off of it to find out.
