I saw this clip on the news and told my wife I was a bit concerned with her technique . . . until my wife said she figured she has all the protection she needs.

Saw the same story... all that loose clothing around a chain saw gives me the willies

I recall when I first learned shop.. they told us not to wear ties for fear of strangling ourselves in the lathe

Hadn't thought about i that lesson for years till I saw that woman in a habit with the saw
 
i have seen people catch clothing in a lathe before, its not pretty. I know quite a few friends that have lost fingers on a table saw because they were "just doing a quick cut". i've seen people caught on chairlifts because of backpacks and loose clothing.

its not something to mess with! I still appreciate her attitude though!
