Bad TC Fire Pot code keeps coming up. Had service call 2 weeks ago or so. Of course stove worked then. Service guy checked all wires etc, couldn't really locate anything wrong. Said "possible fluke".Well "fluke" is back.
Anyone else out there have this problem, or suggestion for solution?

It's either a bad thermo-couple or just not enough BTU's in the pot on start up. Hoppers full? Long pellets blocking feed rate?

Make sure that the thermoccouple is touching the inside of the ceramic cover

Thanks for suggestions. Last night stove started again (after pushing retry) cycle ran for about 20 mins (Start-up, Low, Up to Med-Hi heat) Flame appeared normal activity and size, hopper full, pellets dropping, then all of a sudden code came up again and flame went out.

Did he actually test the thermocouple? If you remove the ceramic cover and hold a lighter to the tip of the thermocouple and unplug the wire harness from the motherboard, you can use a multi meter to test for milli-volts. when heated, it should have at least 15 mv reading.
