Quadrafire 2008

I’ve been running my Quadrafire daily this season and it has been doing fine. Turned it on this morning and the secondary blower is not kicking on. The first blower is working though. It’s been about two hours. Any suggestions?

Snap disc #1 may be bad. You can jump it and the convection blower will run continuously. Should be a purple wire connected to it

Okay. How do I bypass snap disc 1?

I bypassed disc one and that did not work. I connected the two purple wires together. There is power running to the wires.

Ok Your going to have to check you motor to make sure it’s functional. Take the wires from the motor and connect them to an old lamp cord and plug into the wall.

I attached the wires to it and nothing happened.

I attached the lamp cord to two purple wires and nothing happened when I plugged it in. Was I supposed to attach one wire to each of the wires or does it matter?

2 wires from the motor to the lamp cord no polarity so it don't matter which wire. if it does nothing you need a new convection blower
