Hey all, just remembered to post this for everyone. As we all know the fans on our wood stoves wear over time, making for almost unbearable noise. I though the 170.00 - 180.00 replacement cost was way too high, so I would clean and lube it 2x a year and that stopped working for the noise issue. My kid did a bunch of research and found a 28.00 direct bolt-in replacement that I am 100% satisfied with. The original fan was 812-4900 which we replaced with MFB008. For 28.00 if it craps out, I'll just buy another one. This one I've had running for over a month with zero problems.

Oh, I have the 4300 step-top.

Heck, I just searched and newegg.com has them for $21.95 as of this morning!

Good tip. $20.95 here:
