Hi All,

Scratching my head here. After a good cleaning, I fired the stove back up.

I noticed that on the control box, the light switched from solid green to solid red.

The blower is on and the appliance is feeding normally but...

The stove seems to be running very very hot. The pellets in the hopper even way at the top are very hot to touch.

This seems atypical. I have never noticed this before.

Heeeeeelp!

What setting are you burning on? Lo/Med/Hi? Did you happen to accidentally adjust your feed gate while cleaning? Something from cleaning blocking a fan? Flame height any different?

Checked that. Set to medium. Stove seems to be running like normal. Trying to keep an eye on it.

Which blower is running?
The exhaust blower should always be on.
The convection blower that blows the heat out only comes on once the stove heats up approx 15-2o minutes after the stove warms up.
If this convection blower or room blower they call it, does NOT come on then the stove will over heat!

Did you put the heat deflectors(baffles) back in after cleaning? kap
