I would like to know if any one has had this problem.. My Father-in-law has a Quad Santa Fe. He has his thermostat mounted behind the stove. His problem is this, if he sets the thermostat higher , so it will run a little longer, the stove always cuts off at 75. he can never get the stove to run any hotter than 75. I can bury my thermostat and it will run all day. I thought his thermostat might be going bad. Any advice would be great! Thanks everyone in advance!! Happy new year to all.

I get my Santa Fe in 2 weeks !!!! I'm looking to buy a Honeywell digital thermostat. If the thermostat is toast on yours, maybe you should look into buying one.

Is the Tstat the OEM one or an aftermarket one? I have digital one and it will go as long as the Tstat is calling for heat. the issue might be that it is too close to the stove.

The Tstat is OEM.. he has had it about 5 years.. i think he should go digital.

Maybe it has gone bad. Try a different tstat and see if that resolves the issue.
