The stock fire bricks it comes with leave large gaps of exposed metal in the firebox, my question is would it be worth it to add addition firebricks? Would it radiate more heat or is this a waste of my time and just keep it the way it is? Any help appreciated

I attached 2 pictures to show the gap it leaves. I emailed napoleon and no reply as usual

I don't think I would do anything to change it.

Putting brick there would actually make it radiate less
